Hey Family!!!
Well this week has been a pretty good week for us. We got to teach Samantha again on Monday night, we started to talk to her about baptism and how she was feeling about it. She said that she was still working on getting over her fear of water so we asked her if she would meet us at the church on Wednesday to look at the font and to see how big it was and such. So we met her at the church and did a whole little run through and after we did it all we asked her if she would be baptized....she said yes. So we asked her when she would like to do it. She wasn't sure so we asked her if she wanted to do it on Christmas, being a nine years old she, of course, said no. So we asked her about Christmas Eve, she said she still wasn't sure about that until we told her that it would be in the morning not in the evening. Once she realized that she was fine with Christmas Eve. We were pretty excited about that because that’s right before transfers so we'll get at least the one baptism together.
Well everything else is going pretty good. We still have quite a few investigators that we are finding over in Reedsport. We are also finding a few in Florence now to so it’s really lookin good. I forgot if I told you or not but most of the people we are finding are still in high school or just out of high school so we are having a little trouble finding people to fellowship them along because, in case if you weren't aware, Florence is the number one retirement place in the country, which means that its full of old people.......not really ideal to help high school kids into the church but it’s all workin out ok.
There isn't really much else that is goin on this week just the same work goin along. We are pretty excited for Christmas we get to spend it with some members in Florence who just bought a new house out in the country and it is a pretty sweet house and the family is awesome so it'll be good to spend Christmas with them. I'm not sure what time I’ll be calling yet, I think it’ll be late afternoon or early evening so I’ll try to find out what time exactly and let you know.
So what time is your friend going to be in Florence? I'm not sure if I’m allowed to give out the number or not so I’ll try to find out soon. If not we are usually around the apartment in the afternoon. If you need specific information ask and I’ll try to get it for ya.
I hope you are all havin a blast back home. You guys are all super amazing, thanks for all you do for me. I hope all of your tests and sports and concerts and everything else you guys are involved in go good for ya this week. I love all of you a ton and I hope to be receiving one or two letters from the brothers for Christmas............Hope you guys have a great week. Love ya!
