Why hello Family,
Well well well I don't really know what to tell you. This week has been a pretty crazy week for us. Well I guess I’ll just start with Thursday and go from there. On Thursday we were told that we would be going on exchanges with our APs so I ended up going over to Eugene for the day with one of the APs. That was really fun, but then on Friday we had our President Training meeting so in order to get over to Coos Bay I was going to hitch a ride with the President. So we go over to the Presidents house and as I get out he asks me if I have my driver’s license with me, I told him yes, he says ok you’re driving....So I got to drive our mission president for a couple hours and got to talk with him a little more so that was probably the highlight of my week.
We had a great president training meeting and we learned a lot. I guess that there is a new curriculum or something that they started using in the MTC right after I left and so we've been learning how to use that more and stuff. It’s pretty much the same thing you still use preach my gospel just in a slightly different way, I can't really explain it that well so sorry.
We did spend some time in both places this week. We have a couple investigators in Reedsport that should be getting a date pretty soon. One is married to a member but neither came to church until just recently because his wife just found out that she has cancer and so they thought they better get back on the right path. So we are working with him to get him baptized here pretty quick. We also have a few investigators in Florence. I don't know if I’ve told you about the Floods or not but they have been investigators for quite a while and right now she is really close to finally choosing to be baptized. So we are hoping that we might have a couple more baptisms before transfers just in case one of us leaves.
So it sounds like all is well back home just as hectic as ever. Mom somehow I don't believe that you won at Monopoly that just doesn't seem possible when you try to be nice to everyone and try to make it so everyone is happy in that game somehow I just don't really believe you. You might have to have Kristi or Dad tell me the full story. Any way tell Sam good job at takin first in soccer and for scoring 11 points that’s pretty sweet. Did Daniel decide not to play basketball? If he did tell him he's a pansy but I guess if he's playing lacrosse instead that’s ok. By the way tell him I like his long hair. Tell Tanner good luck in the art contest I hope he does good. You'll have to send me some pictures of his painting so that I can be the real judge. Also send me a copy of his article that he wrote if you don't mind. Well I hope you all kick some butt back home it sounds like the Stephenson clan is still rockin at everything.
I hope you all have a great week, love ya tons and hope to get a letter or two from some brothers or sister who knows I might even send something back.....Love ya.
Love
Elder Stephenson II
