...no Mom I didn't get homesick!

December 27, 2010

Hey Family!

Well don't much has happened since I got to see ya.  My companion did somehow end up getting sick yesterday so we spent all day inside again.  I got the student manual of the first part of the Old Testament for Christmas from a member in the ward and so since I have started to read the Old Testament I started to read that too, it is pretty sweet.

It was super good to see all of you, no Mom I didn't get homesick at all after talking to you guys. I was pretty surprised about that.  It was great to see everyone.  Hopefully we can Skype for Mother’s Day but I'm not sure if we can or not it might have just been a Christmas thing.

So I got a call from your friend this morning so we should be meeting her later today some time.  I'm pretty excited if there is a chocolate pie :)  I'll be sending her a box with stuff for the family and probably a Christmas present for myself with the money that I got from the Painters.  I'll try to label everything so you know who gets what but just in case I’ll tell you now.  The machete goes to Samuel as a late birthday gift.  The sweet knife goes to Daniel. (Unless he wants the machete you can let him choose but I did buy the knife for him but I’m cool with whatever just give the other one to Samuel)  The girly gloves and hats I don't really care which one you choose one’s for you and ones for Kristi.  I did label the rest of the hats and bandanas for the boys so give those to who they belong to.  And dad gets the work gloves.  I'm planning on buying a sweet clock for myself so hopefully that will fit in the box, if not and there is no clock in the box don't worry about it I probably didn't end up buying it.  But if it is in there just put it somewhere safe for me for two years.........so we just took a little break and went and had breakfast and I went and bought the clock so it should be in the box when you get it.

So our mission is pretty relaxed about the music too.  I'm able to listen to all of the music I have out here plus with Grandma's and Grandpa's money on both sides I went and bought some Christmas CD's so that was fun.

Thanks again for all the little Christmas gifts I really appreciated all of them.  I was so close to buying a Sudoku book the other day and then I didn't and now look you sent one to me.....but you might have to send me another one because this one is a little too easy.  The first sixty puzzles are four by four or six by six not the real nine by nine puzzles so I’m already like half way done with it.  Anyways thanks a ton!

That’s about all I have for ya this week.  I hope all is going well back home and that you guys all have a fun time at the party tonight with everyone there. By the way you can tell Tom and LaDawn that I bought the clock with the money they sent me just so you know.  Love you all tons have a great week.
