Hey Family!
So this week has been a pretty good week for us. We had the baptism on Saturday and that was awesome. They wanted it later in the day because they wanted to make sure that her mom would be able to come who isn't a member. She was able to and it was awesome- I definately think that it had a good effect on her.
We have been doing a lot more finding here in Florence. It has been somewhat successful. We found a couple new investigators just the other day but we'll see if they really wanted us to come back or not. We were able to spend a few days in Reedsport last week but not a whole ton. We are planning on spending most of this coming week there, Thursday through Sunday so that should be good.
So far I really like my new companion. It started off kind of slow but now we are doin pretty good together. I think I told you that he has only been out six months so both of us still aren't for sure how to do some things but it’s a great learning experience.
So I decided that you ask too many questions in your emails so don’t be mad if I don't answer them all. Last P-day we went over to Bandon with some of the missionaries in our district and played golf because one of the members has hook ups over there and lets us play. So we weren't able to get back and email until later so sorry about that.
So today should be a pretty fun day. As some of you probably know, today is the national championship football game which the Ducks happen to be playing in. The game starts at five thirty our time and that’s right when we are supposed to go back to work so our mission president gave us permission to work four hours in the morning and to watch the game this evening. So we are pretty excited about that. It’s probably a good thing he said that too because everyone here seems to go crazy with football so nobody would have let us in if we did work this evening. I know some of the elders in other areas weren't even able to get dinner appointments because nobody in the ward wanted to miss the game......I don’t get why sports are so important to some people but I guess that’s just me.
Well that’s about all I have for this week. I hope all is well back home and I’m glad everyone is enjoying all of the gifts I sent. I do have one question did Daniel choose the knife or the machete? Hope you guys all have a great week love ya tons.
Love Elder Stephenson II
